◼️ Test Route: Taipei Suburbs Summer Special – Trail Run & Natural Pool Loop
An early access route before the Xiwan Road opened, starting from Kezilin Tea House, ascending Wuzhishan Ancient Trail, then Yourui South Peak, Xinshan, and returning via Menghu Lake to swim at a natural pool, forming a loop summer route.
Route: Kezilin Tea House → Wuzhishan Ancient Trailhead → Yourui South Peak → Xiwan Road Section 3 → Viewpoint → Xinshan → Menghu Lake → Kezilin Tea House
The trail has multiple connecting branches; hikers can make their own loop.
Some sections are slippery; Xinshan has a short rope-assisted section.
Carry Stability
The main difference from traditional backpacks is the vest-style shoulder system. Three-section elastic chest straps allow for fine adjustment of tension. This design keeps the pack closer to the body, enhancing stability during movement and reducing fatigue over long fast hikes.
Tested carry weight: ~4 kg
Recommended maximum comfortable load: ~8 kg
This ensures a good balance between comfort and speed.
Hydration Functionality
